- Make a Copy: When you open the link, go to
File > Make a copyto save it to your own Google Drive. - Read the Terms: I’ve included a "Terms of Use" cover page. Read through it for tips, then feel free to delete that page to start your dashboard on Page 1.
- Interactive Status: Click the status chips in the "Status" column to toggle between In Progress, Review, and Complete.
How to Build Your Own Dashboard (Step-by-Step)
Want to learn the "Magic" behind the design? Here is how to create a professional dashboard from scratch:
1. The Invisible Table Skeleton
The key to a sidebar layout is an invisible table. Insert a 2x1 grid and drag the center line to the left (approx. 25%). To keep it minimalist, go to Table Properties and set the Table Border to 0pt.
2. Create Aesthetic Status Chips
Type @dropdown in any cell. Select New Dropdown and create your labels. Use soft tones like Sage Green (#8A9A5B) or Warm Sand (#EADDCA) for a cohesive look.
3. Master Your Typography
Use Montserrat for a modern feel. For headers, use Bold with extra letter spacing (manually adding spaces between letters) to give it that high-end boutique look.
Tailor It To Your Project
This template is fully editable! Here is how to make it yours:
- For Client Work: Add a new section in the sidebar for "Client Contact Info" and link directly to their shared assets.
- For Creators: Change the "Status" chips to Drafting, Filming, and Published.
- Adding Phases: Simply highlight a row in your task table, right-click, and select "Insert row below" to add new milestones.
