This layout uses "Google Docs Magic" to create a functional sidebar, interactive action items, and a beautiful boutique header. Whether you are a creative entrepreneur or managing a team, this hub will make your workflow feel intentional and inspired.

If you've downloaded my template, follow these steps to get started:
- The Master Copy: Open the file and go to
File > Make a copy. Never edit the original so you always have a fresh starting point. - Internal Navigation: Use the "Quick Links" sidebar to link to your Brand Kit, Project Folders, or Client Contracts for instant access during a call.
- Action Items: Click the checkboxes in the "Sticky Note" section at the bottom. These are interactive!
Make It Your Own
You can easily tailor this to your brand colors and specific meeting needs:
- Change the Sage Header: Click inside the "Meeting Discussions" cell, go to Table Properties > Color and change the background to your preferred brand shade.
- Update the Labels: You can rename "Quick Links" to "Team Roster" or "Project Assets" depending on who the meeting is for.
- Resize Columns: Drag the vertical line between the sidebar and notes area if you need more (or less) writing space.
Build Your Own Hub (Step-by-Step)
If you want to build this masterpiece from scratch, follow these expert-level instructions to ensure every detail is perfect.
1. The Foundation: Set the Canvas
Start with a blank document. Go to File > Page Setup. Set your margins to **0.5"** on all sides. This is critical—it gives you that edge-to-edge "dashboard" look rather than a cramped essay look. Select Montserrat as your font for a clean, professional finish.
2. The Invisible Architecture
Insert a **2x1 table**. Hover over the center vertical line until your cursor changes, then drag it to the left so the first column is about **2.5 inches** wide. This creates your sidebar.
Pro Tip: Right-click the table, go to Table Properties, and set the **Table Border to 0pt**. This makes the structure invisible, leaving you with a perfectly aligned floating layout.
3. Designing the Sidebar Navigation
In the left cell, set a background color (like **Sand #F6F1EC**). Type your title. To get that boutique look, use all caps and add a space between every letter: M E E T I N G H U B.
Insert a 1x4 table inside this cell to act as navigation buttons. Fill these inner cells with **White** and set their borders to 0.5pt in a very light grey. This "nested table" trick is what makes the document look like an app.
4. The Boutique Header & Lined Paper Effect
In the right column, insert a 3x1 table for your metadata (Project, Date, Attendees).
To get the "fill-in-the-blank" look: select the table, set borders to 0pt. Then, click into a cell, find the tiny Border Selection arrow in the top-right corner, select only the **Bottom Border**, and set it to 1pt in **Lavender #A8877A**.
5. The Interactive Action Item Widget
At the bottom of the right column, insert a **1x1 table**. Under Table Properties, set the **Cell Background to Sand** and change the **Border Dash** to a dashed line. Inside, type @checklist. This creates a dedicated "sticky note" area for your tasks that actually check off!
